Blended Naturals Press Release

2009 is almost over.  I'm almost sad to see it go but also look forward to such much in 2010.

Blended Naturals will be aggressively marketed at craft fairs, trade shows and other events throughout NY, NJ, CT and PA.  Women of color need to know about this new product line that helps to:
  • Hydrate dry skin
  • Smooth uneven skin tone
  • Provide pampering
  • Improve skin's elasticity to prevent premature wrinkles
  • Reduce germs that cause acne
  • and much more...

I thought it befitting to distribute a press release announcing the relaunch:

Here's to a Prosperous New Year.  Happy New Year to you all!

Blended Naturals...Almost There

I just wanted to pop in for a minute to give you all a little progress report on the relaunch of Blended Naturals.

After many sleepless nights, I've decided to stop trying to do what I am not good at...graphic design.  I was trying to edit my photos for the website so they would not have a background.  I used the famous Adobe PhotoShop but I have to say, this program is not user friendly at all.  I'm glad I only did a trial run of it. I wouldn't spend the money they want for it because I could hardly figure out how to work the darn program! Then when I did, the results were not as stellar as I would have liked so I did the smart thing...Outsourced.

A graphic design company is editing all of my images and they will be completed tomorrow.  Just in time for me to load them to the website for the launch on December 5th.  The website is almost complete now but lacking the photos.  Pop by and take a peek www.FreshRadiantSkin.com
Until next time.... Hopefully soon. I can't wait to get back to sharing great skin care content with you all.

Michelle
PS Happy Thanksgiving to my fellow Americans!

Healthy Skin Month is Coming!

Hey did you know that November is Healthy Skin Month? What better time than to get your skin in the best health possible.

What's necessary for healthy skin?
  1. Start by making sure you follow a daily skin care regimen. Read these Skin Care Tips for more detail.

  2. Use skin care products that are right for your skin type (normal, dry, oily, sensitive, combination)

  3. Since whatever you put on your skin is absorbed into it, avoid skin care products with heavy laden chemicals.  While it is necessary to have some form of preservative to prevent bacterial invasion, avoid products that contain Parabens (ex: methylparaben, butylparaben).  Also avoid Sodium Laurel Sulfate and ingredients that look like it (ex: Sodium Lauryth Sulfate).  The chemicals prematurely age your skin and can even cause other health problems.

  4. Patience - If you have issues with acne or other skin conditions, it takes time to get your skin healthy.  You may need to see a dermatologist but still be aware of the chemicals they are giving  you to use.  Acne medicines are ok to use for a short while.  Howevever if you notice your skin looking wrinkled or dried out, STOP using the product and consult your doctor.  Some ingredients are too harsh for sensitive skin.

NOTE: Blended Naturals is being re-launched this month. What a great time for a healthy skin line to be introduced during  healthy skin month!  Stay tuned for the announcement.  I'll be giving away free samples. All you will have to do is sign up to receive them - while supplies last so stay tuned!

Dyes and Colorants NO!

Did you know that many skin care and beauty products are made up of dyes and colorants ? Well, dyes and colorants in skin care products can cause harmful effects, even more so if you have sensitive skin.

Black Skin Care

When it comes to skin care, people with more pigment in the skin tend to suffer with common skin problems such as acne and severe dry skin. Black people in general have dry skin conditions and will benefit from specialized black skin care products. Some of us also deal with oily skin on the face...usually a T-zone where the oily portion is the forehead, nose and chin areas.

Upon further evaluation and feedback for my product line, Blended Naturals I realized that this is truly a black skin care products line. Most of my repeat customers are of African decent. That's not to say that people of other skin types and races can't use the products. It's more a reflection of the fact that these products are so beneficial for dry skin sufferers and those who also have eczema of which tend to be black people and those with additional pigment

My daughter gets eczema and our Organic Shea Butter and Soy Balm with Sweet Orange Essential Oil quickly restores moisture to the skin. In addition to that, the facial skin care products are gentle enough for even the most sensitive skin.

I invite anyone who has severe dry skin or sensitive skin to try these products, but especially those who are interested in black skin care. Use special discount code of REVIVE for savings.

Blended Naturals Radio Commercial

This weekend came and went so fast I don't even feel like I had a break. I was running around all weekend with my daughter and little one doing errands for our home, shopping at Michael's for my daughter's latest craft hobby, food shopping, church etc. I had to take a mental health day yesterday just to get myself back on even footing.

Anywho, I wanted to share my new radio commercial with everyone. If you are not a fan of Blended Naturals yet, pick up a Super Beauty Sampler here. You'll love how wonderfully rich in minerals these products are and how great they leave your skin feeling and looking.

Natural Skin Care Sampling

It seems as though natural skin care products are a "dime a dozen" online. However, a skin care product does not have to be 100% chemical free to be classified as natural. While some natural skin care lines do have minimal traces of chemicals, the two chemicals you really want to avoid are Sodium Lauryl, Sodium Dodecyl Sulfate or Sodium Laureth Sulfate and Methylparaben (or anything ending in "paraben"). These chemicals are potentially dangerous for your skin and your health.

Blended Naturals does not contain any of these chemicals and is known for being kind to sensitive skin.
The Blended Naturals "Super Beauty Sampler" contains an assortment of natural skin care samples for $9.99 and is available online at www.freshradiantskin.com.

Blended Naturals is making it's mark

Blended Naturals is a NEW mineral skin care and bath spa line making it's way into the world of beauty...

Beauty Bloggers around the country are recognizing the quality and effectiveness of this natural skin care line. From bath teas, shower gels, whipped body creams and salves to detoxifying cleansing gels, toner and brown sugar scrub and mask, Blended Naturals is rapidly becoming a hit in the world of beauty.

Like any beauty product, it take some time for the public to catch on. Of course, that's not the case with huge companies that have deep pockets and large R&D (research and development) teams. However, for those of us without a name.......yet, we have to work twice as hard to get our creations noticed.

I'm very proud to present Blended Naturals to the world.

Here are just a couple of bloggers who have reviewed this wonderful personal care product line:
