Fresh Radiant Skin for Your Kids

Well, I'm back form my little hiatus from blogging.  I can't take too much time away.  It's like taking candy from a baby. It just doesn't seem right...(ok maybe I need a little help)

Anyway, the new Blended Naturals is just about ready to be launched and I will share all of the new product benefits with you in the near future.  In the meantime, I wanted to share my opinion on some products formulated for babies, kids and adults with ultra-sensitive skin.  It's a product line called California Baby.

I'm committed to helping educating people in my sphere of influence about products on the market that are good for the skin as well as those that may not be so good.  The reason I like California Baby is because it's a nature based line and is not only great for babies and children but for adults too.

For the past few weeks I've been using the products on my son.  Now, for those who don't know, I'll share a little about my son.  Christopher was diagnosed with cerebral palsy and epilepsy. Since the doctors don't really know the cause or causes of his condition I am very careful to watch the types of products (specifically ingredients) I use on him and the type of food I feed to him. Especially since I have done my own research about the effects of chemicals with those who have epilepsy.  Now about California Baby...

I've been using the following natural skin care products on Christopher:

Everyday Calendula Aromatherapy Lotion - This lotion is made with essential oils and organic ingredients including Vitamin E, Aloe Vera and Rosehips.  It has a refreshingly lightly scent that smells somewhat like Lavender. It's non-greasy and absorbs quickly.  I like this product because it keeps Christopher's skin soft and smooth without using all of the chemicals found in other commercial brands.  I find that he also appears very relaxed and falls asleep better when I massage him down with the lotion.

Super Sensitive Shampoo and Body Wash - This product has no fragrance so it's really great for sensitive skinI use this to wash Christopher's hair and body and he is very tolerant of the product. Because of the absence of Sodium Laurel Sulfate (a good thing), it doesn't foam up.  My only negative about this is that I feel compelled to use a lot of the product in order to feel like I'm getting him clean.  Hence, the bottle doesn't last for very long.

Each of these products retails online for approximately $12 for an 8 1/2 ounce bottle.  You can also pick it up at your local Target.  It's not a bad price to pay for using natural products that are ultimately healthier for your children.
