Permanent Makeup Dangers

Wearing makeup may be a great way to enhance your beauty. It certainly should not be used to create a "new" you. Rather, makeup should be used to enhance the qualities you already have.

Many women are going the route of permanent facial make up. People who are allergic to cosmetics sometimes get permanent facial makeup. Additionally, people who have experienced hair loss due to disease, get permanent makeup. They get permanent eyeliner, permanent eyebrows, permanent blush and permanent lip liner.

While getting permanent facial makeup may be a time saver and appears to be a benefit for some, it's certainly got its risks. Permanent facial makeup is really not much more than tattooing your skin. The US FDA has discovered that there have been many adverse side effects at the application of permanent makeup. Side effects include swelling, cracking, peeling, blistering, scarring, infection and inflammation of the skin. There have even been cases of disfigurement.

So before you consider getting permanent makeup, reconsider. Obtaining a fresh look does not have to be something you wake up and go to sleep with. Consider doing some practical things to make your skin look more appealing such as drinking more water, avoiding fried foods & sugar and maintaining a consistent daily skin care regimen. As far as makeup goes, consider natural mineral makeup. It's better for your skin because it does not allow bacteria and microbes to live in the makeup and infect your skin. Natural mineral makeup is also non-comedogenic, allowing your skin to breathe.
